Our Inspiration

The Katfull Cancer Initiative was organized in memory of the life and spirit of Ms. Katrina Laurice Fuller. 

     Katrina, as she was affectionately known, was a life long fighter of cancer.  Having discovered she had breast cancer at age 23 she fought and won the battle over cancer up until the Lord gave her rest from her fight at the age of 46. 

     Katrina was a marathon runner, a personal trainer, an aerobics instructor, a spin class instructor, a government employee, a loving wife and an overall beautiful person.  She did all of this while battling breast cancer with a grace and class that is both rare and abnormal.  Cancer did not defeat Katrina.  Katrina completed her work and God gave her rest. 

     The Katfull Cancer Initiate was organized by her husband to honor her memory and legacy as a fighter, an encourager and one who empowered others who were also in the fight.  We through this initiative are not starting this work, we are merely continuing hers.

No Matter Who You Are You Are Still Beautiful

The faceless face because, as cancer has not prejudice, there will be no ethnicity of which KCI will not help.  All women who suffer hair loss due to treatment will be blessed by this initiative.

The matching earrings and wrap signifies these women know that, although their bodies are going through changes, they are still a person beauty and class.

The multicolored wrap signifies that, although they may be living with cancer, life is still filled with beauty, excitement and vibrancy.

PURPOSE

Provide scarves, beanies, wraps and berets to women who suffer hair loss due to cancer treatments
